Welcome to 8th Grade ScienceWelcome to your 8th grade year at Lakewood Middle School! I am excited to begin your last year at Lakewood with you. You will enjoy the increased activities and freedoms associated with 8th grade. You will also become aware that your attitude and study habits are crucial to your success this year and your progression to high school.
8th grade is a fun year filled with a lot of expectations you have for yourself, expectations from your parents, and of course your teachers. Some of the topics we cover in 8th grade will be completely new to you and others will be an extension from your learning experiences in 6th and 7th grade science. There is a textbook code that will be given to you at the beginning of school so you can access the online textbook. My weebly is your resource so please let me know if there is something you cannot find or open and we will work to make sure you get that information. |
SuppliesThe following supplies should be brought to class everyday

TutorialsTutorials are open to all students who need additional help on new concepts, organization, retesting or make-up labs. My goal is to see each of my students succeed and I am willing to provide extra assistance if you ask me for help. Students should schedule tutorials at least 24 hours in advance.
